Volleyball Recap: Serena Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Serena entered their tilt with Hall on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Red Devils. This was payback for the Huskers, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Serena who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 18-25, 25-21.

Serena's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trinity Weber led the charge by getting ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Weber has posted since back in October of 2024.

Serena's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Serena will be taking part in a tournament against Sherrard at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hall, they will challenge Roanoke-Benson at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
