Softball Preview: Clay Panthers vs. Green Bobcats
Clay is 10-0 against Green since April of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Clay Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Green Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Green took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clay, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Clay made easy work of West Union and carried off a 12-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Clay.
Sarah Cassidy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Cassidy was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.
