Softball Recap: Grants Comes Up Short

Grants was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the St. Pius X Sartans, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Grants' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Pius X, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grants will welcome Capital at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Pius X, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lovington at 2:00 p.m.
