Volleyball Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Woodside Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

Woodside was led to victory by Jharen Radovan and Jayden Bruce. Radovan had nine aces and six assists, while Bruce had five digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Radovan is now averaging an impressive 4 aces per game. Another player making a difference was Troy Dam, who had five digs and five aces.

Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Woodside, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Hampton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Norcom on the 3rd. As for Woodside, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Menchville on the 2nd.
