Soccer Game Preview: Keller Central vs. Trinity

The Keller Central Chargers are taking a road trip to challenge the Trinity Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keller Central's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Keller Central didn't have quite enough to beat Byron Nelson and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Chargers have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Trinity fell victim to Bell and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 133rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity and nudges their season record down to 5-7-1. As for Keller Central, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Keller Central came up short against Trinity in their previous meeting back in January, falling 3-1. Can Keller Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
