Basketball Game Preview: Central Davidson Spartans vs. North Davidson Black Knights

Central Davidson is 1-9 against North Davidson since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Central Davidson Spartans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the North Davidson Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Central Davidson came up short against Parkland and fell 60-51.

Meanwhile, North Davidson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 39-34 to Asheboro. The Black Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for North Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Central Davidson strolled past North Davidson when the teams last played back in January by a score of 42-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central Davidson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
