Football Game Preview: Lutheran North Mustangs vs. Flat Rock Rams + How To Watch

The Lutheran North Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Flat Rock Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lutheran North's defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so Flat Rock's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lutheran North is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 13, 2024 on Friday. They lost 44-19 to Gabriel Richard. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Mustangs' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Flat Rock and Huron have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Rams put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 37-13 win. Considering the Rams have won four games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Flat Rock's win came from a few key players Lutheran North will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ben Scully, who picked up 90 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 67 yards. Another player making a difference was Joel Scully, who threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lutheran North fell to 7-1. As for Flat Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
