Soccer Game Preview: Chamblee vs. Shiloh

The Chamblee Bulldogs will face off against the Shiloh Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Chamblee is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Marist just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the War Eagles, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Chamblee couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Shiloh hadn't done well against Rockdale County recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Generals were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Bulldogs. Shiloh might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

They hit Rockdale County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Makenzy Dixon (5), Lewhat Tesfazghi (3), and Josselyn Martinez (3).

Chamblee's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Shiloh, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.
