Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Industrial Cobras. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Arrian Spratt paced Marshall's offense, picking up six kills. Spratt got some help from Arianna Wright and her eight assists.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Industrial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Taft on the 29th. As for Industrial, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against MacArthur on the 29th.
