There's no place like home for South Rowan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the East Davidson Golden Eagles with a sharp 15-0 win on Thursday. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 5-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Kynlee Dextraze, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nora Wheeler, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

South Rowan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .720. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Davidson only posted an OBP of .182.

South Rowan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for East Davidson, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

South Rowan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Northwest Cabarrus on the 7th. As for East Davidson, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 victory against Union Grove Christian on the 10th.
