Football Recap: Central Kitsap Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Central Kitsap had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 36-21 to the Rainier Beach Vikings. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Kitsap will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Olympic at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Rainier Beach, they will square off against O'Dea at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
