Basketball Recap: Newcomers Victorious

Newcomers lost to Grover Cleveland back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Newcomers came out on top against the Grover Cleveland Presidents by a score of 41-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Newcomers.

Newcomers' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Grover Cleveland, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Academy of American Studies the next time they take the court. Grover Cleveland will head out to face Academy of American Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Newcomers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
