Basketball Game Preview: Baker Gators vs. L.E.A.D. Academy Lions + Official Tickets

For the second week in a row, Baker is taking on L.E.A.D. Academy. The Gators will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baker knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully L.E.A.D. Academy likes a good challenge.

Baker is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing L.E.A.D. Academy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Gators blew the Lions out of the water with a 69-38 final score. Fans of the Gators have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Baker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Bethel, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Bethel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Ellis, who put up 15 points.

Baker pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
