Basketball Recap: East Rochester Continues Home Dominance on Friday

East Rochester won the last time they faced Red Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The East Rochester Bombers blew past the Red Creek Rams 59-39. The 59-point effort marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

East Rochester pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.5 points. As for Red Creek, they moved to 5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

East Rochester won't have much time to rest: their next game is against York at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Rochester knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully York likes a good challenge. As for Red Creek, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Geneseo at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Geneseo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
