Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They never let the Kenwood Bluebirds get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Northeast, bringing their record up to 12-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Kenwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Northeast will square off against South River at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seahawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kenwood, they will face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
