Volleyball Recap: Hilton Head Island Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hilton Head Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brunswick Pirates. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Hilton Head Island actually scored more points across those three sets (56-52), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-23, 15-8.

Hilton Head Island's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Hilton Head Island didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Calvary Day on the 9th. As for Brunswick, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lowndes on the 11th.
