Clinton kept a clean sheet against Eau Claire on Monday. They blew past the Shamrocks 12-0. Clinton's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six games.

Their offense was hitting Eau Claire from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Erin Donley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Clinton pushed their record up to 8-6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Eau Claire, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Clinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Shamrocks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
