For the second straight game, New Trier will face off against Glenbrook North. The Trevians will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Spartans at 4:45 p.m. New Trier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

New Trier is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Glenbrook North on Monday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-2. The Trevians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

New Trier got a good showing from Justin Rausch, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rausch has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, New Trier saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Meyers, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
