Basketball Recap: Farmington Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Farmington lost to Seaholm back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Farmington Falcons took down the Seaholm Maples 50-33. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Maples are ranked 514th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Farmington is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Seaholm, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington has already played their next contest (against Harper Woods), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Seaholm will welcome Royal Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal Oak has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
