Football Recap: Mira Mesa Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mira Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 13-6 to the Poway Titans. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Vyanna Ta threw for 133 yards and one TD. Chloe Fernandez was her top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.

Mira Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Poway, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mira Mesa will be playing at home against Mission Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poway, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ramona at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
