Flag Football Recap: Douglas County Huskies vs. Grandview Wolves
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Douglas County can now relate to. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grandview Wolves on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Huskies were not able to get on the board.
Even if they lost, Douglas County's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kenzie Jones and Hayley Rice, who racked up five sacks between them.
Among those leading the charge was Brooke Sullivan, who threw for 152 yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making four total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
