Classical Magnet has gone 6-1 against University recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Classical Magnet Gladiators are taking a road trip to face off against the University Hawks at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Classical Magnet has three straight victories, University has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Classical Magnet will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Capital Prep, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Classical Magnet blew past Capital Prep, posting a 78-37 win. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 34 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when University faced off against Academy of Science and Innovation last Saturday. University was dealt a 60-24 defeat at the hands of Academy of Science and Innovation. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Classical Magnet's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Classical Magnet took their win against University when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 77-54. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was University's Malik Rich, who posted 26 points.
