Basketball Recap: Australian National Team (Australia) Sets Scoring Season-High Against Willis

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Australian National Team (Australia)). They snuck past the Willis Wildkats with a 67-62 win on Monday.

Willis' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chandler Beasley, who went 5 of 9 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Beasley a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was SJ Young, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Australian National Team (Australia)'s victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Willis, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-8.
