Central waltzed into their game on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 85-46 win over the McClintock Chargers. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

John Mattingly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10-for-19 en route to 27 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. His evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Rojas, who went 8-for-10 to rack up 20 points and four steals.

Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

McClintock's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshua Mcmanaway, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 19 points and six boards. Mcmanaway is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played. Kyler Frye was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 13 points and eight assists.

Central's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.2 points over those games. As for McClintock, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-67 defeat against O'Connor on the 19th. As for McClintock, they have also already played their next match, a 91-33 win against Metro Tech on the 11th.
