Volleyball Recap: Kings Mountain Starts Season with Victory at Home

Kings Mountain took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Highland Tech Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mountaineers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Kings Mountain won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

After both having extra time off, Kings Mountain and Franklin will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland Tech, they will square off against East Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
