Baseball Recap: Ayden - Grifton Gets the Win

Martin County typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Ayden - Grifton proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gators, sneaking past 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Ayden - Grifton saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Wilson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Ayden - Grifton's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Martin County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Ayden - Grifton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-7 victory against Greene Central on the 28th. As for Martin County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 31-1 win against North East Carolina Prep on the 28th.
