Softball Recap: Deep Run Wildcats vs. John Marshall Justices

Deep Run put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the John Marshall Justices a 16-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for Deep Run as they're now sitting on four straight.

Braelyn Baulsir was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Baulsir has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Baulsir was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
