Basketball Game Preview: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Seneca Bobcats

The Greer Yellow Jackets will venture away from home to face off against the Seneca Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Greer can't be too worried about heading out to take on Seneca: they just beat Daniel at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Greer was the clear victor by an 81-55 margin over Daniel on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Seneca waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 60-43 victory over the Bulldogs.

Seneca has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Greer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Greer took their victory against Seneca when the teams last played on January 8th by a conclusive 71-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
