Baseball Recap: Parsons Christian Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Harvest Community

Parsons Christian Academy barely beat Harvest Community the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Parsons Christian Academy Lions were the clear victor by a 22-1 margin over the Harvest Community Warriors on Tuesday. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Christian Lacombe made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Parsons Christian Academy's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-2-1 when he doesn't). Lacombe was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

In other batting news, Brayden Comer and Jeffrey Hartley did most of the damage at the plate: Comer scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Hartley scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Christian Ennis, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4.

Parsons Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .692. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Parsons Christian Academy back to even at 3-3-1. As for Harvest Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
