Basketball Recap: Lockhart Comes Up Short

Lockhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 59-43 fall against the Leander Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Lockhart this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-39 back in January.

Lockhart's defeat dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Leander, their win bumped their record up to 12-21.

Lockhart and Leander could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lockhart will square off against Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 555 places (786 vs. 231). Similarly, Leander (ranked 528th) will meet Glenn (ranked 11th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
