Baseball Recap: Buckley Comes Up Short on the Road Against New Roads

Buckley had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the New Roads Jaguars by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Adam Rubin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Buckley has already played their next match, a 4-4 draw against Beverly Hills on the 21st. As for New Roads, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-4 victory against Bolsa Grande on the 19th.
