Basketball Recap: American Leadership Academy-Johnston Comes Up Short

They had to suffer through a 55-13 loss at the hands of the East Wake Academy Eagles. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.

Leading East Wake Academy to victory were Emma Roche and Leila Gonzalez. Roche posted 31 points, while Gonzalez put up 21 points. The matchup was Gonzalez's third in a row with at least ten points.

American Leadership Academy-Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for East Wake Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
