Chatfield lost to Arvada West back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Chargers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Chatfield got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 31-29, 20-25, 25-21.

Emme Mordi paced Chatfield's offense, picking up 17 kills. Mordi got some help from Kayt Gall and her 21 assists. Gall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Arvada West still got an impressive performance from Addie Allen, who had 15 digs and four assists.

Chatfield picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 7-5. As for Arvada West, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Chatfield will square off against Eaton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arvada West, they will venture away from home to face off against Columbine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
