Basketball Preview: Cross Keys Indians vs. Clarkston Angoras
The Cross Keys Indians will head out on the road to take on the Clarkston Angoras at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Cross Keys and 14 for the Angoras.
Last Tuesday, Cross Keys was beaten by the Knights 65-11.
Meanwhile, Clarkston lost to the Wolverines at home by a decisive 46-30 margin on Saturday. Clarkston was down 39-18 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Cross Keys has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Clarkston, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home.
Cross Keys was taken down by the Angoras 57-13 in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can Cross Keys avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
