After only two runs in their last game, ABF Academy Homestead made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hialeah Educational Academy on Wednesday. The ABF Academy Homestead Bandits walked away with a 10-5 win over the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie. The Bandits' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Ashton Rafaela looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Nathan Castillo was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Alex Reguiera was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

ABF Academy Homestead kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hialeah Educational Academy only hit three hits.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, ABF Academy Homestead will venture away from home to take on Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they will welcome Mater Bay Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
