Burns waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They came out on top against the Springfield Millers by a score of 2-0. The Hilanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Millers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Burns took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15.

Jocelyn Graham paced Burns' offense, picking up ten kills. Graham got some help from Taylor Trent and her 26 assists. Graham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Burns' victory bumped their record up to 28-1. As for Springfield, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Burns has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Crane on the 4th. As for Springfield, they will head out to take on Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
