Merrill waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the St. Charles Bulldogs. For the Vandals, this counts as revenge for the 10-9 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Merrill's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for St. Charles, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Merrill will challenge rival Coleman at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Charles is set to face off against their familiar foe Sacred Heart Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
