Basketball Game Preview: Oak Harbor Rockets vs. Rossford Bulldogs

Oak Harbor is on a nine-game streak of home losses, Rossford a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Oak Harbor Rockets will host the Rossford Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oak Harbor lost 66-43 to Ottawa Hills on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 690th, while the Green Bears are ranked 265th).

Meanwhile, Rossford took a blow against Lake on Tuesday, falling 61-22. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Oak Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Rossford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Oak Harbor didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Rossford in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 60-54 victory. Will Oak Harbor repeat their success, or does Rossford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
