Carson Cooley put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
