Basketball Recap: North Bullitt Comes Up Short

North Bullitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees 73-41. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Eagles/Banshees are ranked 25th).

North Bullitt's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bethlehem, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

North Bullitt has already played their next matchup (against Pleasure Ridge Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bethlehem will venture away from home to face off against Montgomery County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Montgomery County has won four straight at home, while Bethlehem won 14 straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change.
