            Basketball Preview: Kadoka Kougars vs. White River Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Kadoka is 1-9 against White River since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Kadoka Kougars will host the White River Tigers  at 6:00  p.m. Kadoka knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully White River likes a good challenge.
Kadoka will bounce into Tuesday's   match after  beating Philip, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Kadoka came out on top against Philip by a score of  68-57  on Friday. The Kougars pushed the score to  52-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Scotties cut but never quite recovered from.

 Kadoka's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Gus Stout, who  posted 17  points and five  rebounds. Stout's big performance that  evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kole Hermann, who  had 15 points and eight  boards.
 Meanwhile, White River lost  69-45 to Lakota Tech on Friday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 White River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Kadoka, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record  this season.
 Kadoka was able to grind out a solid  win over White River in their previous meeting  back in January, winning  65-56. Does  Kadoka have another victory up their sleeve, or will White River turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
