Baseball Recap: East Starts Season with Loss at Home

East unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 17-0 to the Firestone Falcons on Wednesday. The Dragons have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Firestone has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will take on North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Firestone, they will venture away from home to take on Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
