Basketball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Americas Trail Blazers didn't end well, with the Midland Bulldogs falling 46-29. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for JOSH PICHARDO, who went 9 for 12 on his way to 23 points for Americas. CHRISTIAN BACA was another key player, putting up eight points.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Americas, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6.

Midland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-41 defeat against Presidio on the 13th. As for Americas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 41-40 loss against Permian on the 13th.
