Soccer Game Preview: Triad Math and Science Academy vs. Phoenix Academy

The Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals are taking a road trip to square off against the Phoenix Academy Firebirds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Clover Garden School on Friday and fell 5-4. Phoenix Academy haven't had much luck with Clover Garden School recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Phoenix Academy hit Clover Garden School with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josh Littlejohn (2), Jaden Adams, and Jalen Adams.

Triad Math and Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Phoenix Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Triad Math and Science Academy took their win against Phoenix Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
