Baseball Recap: Woodruff Comes Up Short

Woodruff and Walhalla squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Woodruff had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Razorbacks by a score of 7-6. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Razorbacks earlier this season, when they won 8-1.

Woodruff's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9. As for Walhalla, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodruff nor Walhalla have any future games scheduled.
