Basketball Recap: Moorcroft Comes Up Short

Moorcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 58-44 bruising from the Tongue River Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-22 back in December of 2025.

Moorcroft's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Tongue River, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Moorcroft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 41-34 win against Wright on the 31st. As for Tongue River, they will be playing at home against Big Horn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
