 There's no place like home for Windber, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers by a score of  5-1  on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Windber also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
  Andrew Scalia was  excellent,  going 2-for-2 with a  triple and two  RBI.  Logan Serenko was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Windber pushed their record up to 5-3 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
 Windber will challenge Ligonier Valley at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Windber is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will head out on the road to  challenge  North Star at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. North Star will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Berlin Brothersvalley surely won't give up without a fight.
