Basketball Recap: Hampton Hornets vs. McDonough Warhawks
Hampton lost to McDonough back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets fell 58-45 to the Warhawks.

Despite the loss, Hampton still got an impressive performance from C.J Geiger, who posted 29 points. Geiger's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.
McDonough's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ken'Ten Williams, who went 6-for-9 en route to 13 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in blocks (two). Elijah Drummond was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
Hampton dropped their record down to 5-19 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for McDonough, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
Hampton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McDonough, they have already played their next contest, a 74-65 loss against Union Grove on the 9th.
