The Memphis Business Academy Execs will head out on the road to face off against the Huntingdon Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Memphis Business Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Trezevant 68-20. The Execs have beaten the Bears the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bears has come to flipping the script.

Memphis Business Academy found their leader in sophomore Kobe Simmons, who rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 159 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Those 104 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Simmons. Memphis Business Academy's leading receiver Marcus Person Jr was Simmons' top target yet again, picking up 100 receiving yards and two scores, while also rushing for 57 yards.
Memphis Business Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Memphis Business Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Kylan Simmons and Charquavious Jones were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Person Jr also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because Memphis Business Academy is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
Meanwhile, while Huntingdon put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Union City. The Mustangs blew past the Golden Tornadoes 42-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Golden Tornadoes are ranked 216th).
Huntingdon found their leader in sophomore Broox Bennett, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss). Lucas Smith made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Memphis Business Academy's record now sits at 6-4. As for Huntingdon, their record is now 9-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Memphis Business Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 214.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Huntingdon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 272.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
