Volleyball Game Preview: Delavan-Darien Comets vs. East Troy Trojans

Delavan-Darien and East Troy are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Comets will head out on the road to face off against the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Delavan-Darien will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Delavan-Darien barely beat Whitewater the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets blew past the Whippets 3-0 on Thursday.

Delavan-Darien never let Whitewater on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-10.

Meanwhile, East Troy was able to grind out a solid win over St. Mary's Springs on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Delavan-Darien's record now sits at 14-9. As for East Troy, their record is now 11-14.

Everything went Delavan-Darien's way against East Troy in their previous meeting on September 11th, as Delavan-Darien made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
